About Remington 1911 R1
The Remington 1911 R1 is a semi-automatic pistol modeled after the Model 1911 design. The pistol was produced in 1918, but after the end of World War I the production has stopped. It was announced in 2010 that Remington will continue making this model again under the new adopted name, Remington 1911 R1.
